As a business owner, there was a time I struggled to find a solution to get paid online. Luckily, because of the pandemic and the wave of multiple local businesses going online, there are finally some accessible solutions.

Here are 2 of my favorite platforms to get paid online. I use both myself, which I recommend to clients when they ask me.

WiPay

Wipay is an excellent alternative to PayPal. You simply connect your business bank account, and they give you access to pay links, invoices & website plugins so you can add their payment system to their site.

Their fees:

  • Transaction fee (usually a % of the order total)
  • Withdrawal fee

Pros

  • If your clients/customers are using a USD card the money stays in us for you.
  • You can convert us into TTD if you don’t have a local us bank account (their conversion rate is the best)
  • Fully editable and usable woocommerce plugin so you can get paid on wordpress site.

Cons

  • The transaction fee can be tough to swallow at first but you can account for it in your pricing.
  • Can’t create custom pay links for certain services at a set price. It’s one pay link per account.
Social Pay

Social Pay picks up where WiPay left off! Social Pay offers what Wipay has and a bit more.

Their fees:

  • Monthly fee (less than 50ttd)
  • They also have a transaction fee
  • Withdrawal fee

Pros

  • You can create landing pages on the platform (using elementor builder) that have a payment at the bottom. Think Samcart
  • You can create custom pay links for particular services at a set price and reuse them for multiple customers.
  • You can create invoices to get paid online
  • You can create booking pages with a checkout. This booking connects to your zoom account and automatically adds your meeting for you.
  • Their customer service guy is super friendly. My team calls anytime we can’t figure out a new feature
  • They’re constantly adding new features

Cons

  • Not all features are available yet.
  • They have a monthly fee & a transaction fee AND a withdrawal fee… a lot of fees😩 but you get a lot of payment options.
